Updated Guidance on ATS+CCET Route to APC
ATS + CCET Route to APC Revised

We would advise candidates trying to plan their specialist assessor training that there are modifications to the ATS+CCET route to an APC underway which require additional training to include synthesizing theory and practice in assessing SpLDs to qualify for an assessment practising certificate.

 

From 31st March 2011 assessors combining ATS with CCET will have to complete an additional module as described above.

 

NOTE RE ATS + CCET + SASC APPROVED MODULE ROUTE

We would advise candidates trying to plan their specialist assessor training that there are modifications to the ATS+CCET route to an APC underway which require additional  training to include synthesizing theory and practice in assessing SpLDs to qualify for an assessment practising certificate.From 31st March 2011 assessors combining ATS with CCET will have to complete an additional module as described above.

SASC has drawn up the requirements for this additional module. SASC is encouraging Training Providers to develop and submit programmes for SASC approval which would meet the requirements. If you are a provider and wish to offer this training please contact sascweb@sasc.org.uk.
